The distinctive building designation—Certified Graduate Builder (CGB) —achieved by only 2,000 builders nationwide was recently earned by PSG Construction Inc. partner Stephen Gidus.

Stephen also holds the title of Certified Graduate Remodeler (CGR) which is a similar designation for remodelers.

Stephen possesses a solid list of industry accomplishments and is well-recognized in the industry on a local, regional and national level. Recently completing a one-year term as President of the Home Builders Association (HBA) of Metro Orlando, Stephen serves as a member of the Board of Directors of the National Association of Home Builders (NAHB) and is on the Board of Directors for the Florida Home Builders Association (FHBA). Stephen was also the 2002 Chair for the FHBA Remodelors(TM) Council. He was named 2003 Remodeler of the Year by the FHBA due to the contributions he has made to the organization and industry, and 2003 Master Custom Builder Council (MCBC) Builder of the Year.

Administered by the National Association of Home Builders (NAHB) University of Housing, the CGB program is sponsored locally by The Home Builders Association Metro Orlando. Builders earn this professional designation by successfully completing an intensive series of courses taught by leading industry practitioners and academics on topics including business management, emerging technologies and market trends. After earning CGB credentials, program graduates are required to maintain their designations with additional annual training.

“CGB certification helps set our company apart,” Stephen explains. “We believe it contributes to the trust and confidence our clients have in PSG Construction. Homeowners are assured they are getting the finest services for their investment.”
